Objective
Our objective was to design a finance platform that felt as intelligent as the AI running it without losing sight of the person it was built for. That required us to deeply understand both sides before making any design decisions.
The Challenge
Understanding How Native AI Platforms Actually Work
AI agents behave differently from traditional automation. We had to understand how they process information, make decisions, and interact with users before we could design an interface that made any of that feel natural.

CFOs don't just need data they need direction. We spent time understanding how finance leaders actually work, what slows them down, and what kind of information they need to make confident decisions under pressure.
Defining How AI and Humans Can Collaborate Seamlessly

Giving AI and the CFO a Clear Role Each
We established clear roles for both the AI monitors, flags, and suggests, while the CFO reviews, decides, and acts. That division is built into every feature, so collaboration feels natural rather than something that needs to be managed.
Focusing AI Where It Earns Its Place
We focused AI on the three areas where it adds the most value continuous monitoring, early risk detection, and research-heavy tasks. Everything else was designed to stay fast, manual, and in the hands of the finance team.

Typography in Orbizz isn't decorative it's functional. Manrope handles the interface, calm and readable at any size. JetBrains Mono owns every number, creating a clear visual contrast that tells the CFO exactly where to look without any extra effort.

We used halftone textures to give Orbizz a visual personality that feels distinctly its own textured, considered, and nothing like the standard corporate aesthetic. The icon system takes the opposite stance: minimal and precise, because when data is the focus, the icons should never be.
